Toronto's Urban Farm

Fresh City
has farmed at Downsview Park for 12 growing seasons, during which we've grown a lot of food and raised a lot of consciousness around food justice and sustainability.

In 2022, we opened a brand new, much larger farm at the south end of the park, bringing to life our vision of a co-farming space and community hub. Spanning 11 acres, the Fresh City Farm includes 5 acres of farming space plus The Barn, a stunning, 1,900 square foot event space.

In its new incarnation, the Fresh City Farm is a dynamic and vibrant hub for community and education on food justice and sustainability—for people in all walks of life, wherever you are on your food journey.

We're so excited to welcome you to the farm! Explore the farm below with Founder and CEO Ran Goel, and we look forward to seeing you in the vegetable patch!
